Global forum rated Cyprus as Largely Compliant

At a meeting on 29 - 30 October taking place in Barbados, the OECD released on 30 October 2015, the results of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.

The Forum approved supplementary reports for Cyprus that had been previously been rated as Non-Compliant. Following significant changes to its legal frameworks and practices, the new overall rating of ''Largely Compliant'' was assigned to Cyprus.

As a result, Cyprus' status has been amended from Non-compliant to Largely Compliant;
